The historic 14,000-square-foot building that houses Carolina Seafood & Steak was constructed in 1969 and features beautiful remnants salvaged from the former Ocean Forest Hotel, Myrtle Beach’s first “million dollar” hotel. The magnificent wooden arches, built in 1927 and now dividing the restaurant’s rooms, along with the actual bar, are original to the historic hotel.
Stunning stained glass from a church in Spain adorns the ceiling and the bar area, adding to the restaurant’s charm.
Building featuring a Main Dining Room, Garden Room with a glass roof, a cozy Bar, Wooden Room with natural wood walls and colored glass mosaic windows and the Carolina Lounge, which is open from 5-9 p.m. nightly. The lounge includes a dance floor and stage and can be reserved for private parties, complete with equipment and a DJ.
